While government is playing a critical role in building the skilling ecosystem, non-governmental institutions can play a strong complementary role to drive research, experimentation and innovation, and thus, support government to create even higher scale and impact, in an accelerated fashion.
The approach of Knowledge & Research and Strategy & Consulting verticals is to work through global knowledge and research partnerships with academia, employers, industry bodies, governments bodies, vocational training providers, etc. to research, share best practices, design innovative solutions and influence policy.
The Knowledge & Research capability is set up as a practice to work with key stakeholders of the skilling ecosystem such as central and state governments, funding organizations and industry to co-create solutions, share best practices and influence policy.
Our key research focus areas are:
Studies completed under CSDE serve as a repository and knowledge resource for all stakeholders involved in the skill development sector in India. They will provide a better understanding of the direction of efforts and relative focus across sectors, target segments, geographies and entities.

Research on employment in MSME’s (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) in India with ADB (Asian Development Bank)
